Paradox:
“Being in stillness will show you how to reach enlightenment”.
Enlightenment is knowing you’re in motion. It’s seeing that everything is created in sound, motion and color. Nothing ever rests, even when you’re still, your heart beats, your lungs extend and contract, your blood is flowing. Nothing on earth is still. When you’re in stillness it allows for you to see how much is in movement with you. When you’re “not” in stillness, doesn’t mean you’re moving “too fast/slow”, because that is impossible. Someone that has never stood still is blind. Blind to how much of life is moving with you and once you are “physically still”, you can see how much things flow. A man that has never stood still, has never moved on his own. He has always been pulled by others. Trees do not extend their branches past their roots but humans extend themselves and cause their foundations to tear. Trees don’t put their life (roots) in harms way to extend themselves, even to live, even to get sun. They don’t reach farther than what they can. So they wait. Until the sun comes. Or they adapt. They will not harm themselves. They know when to stop extending. They know how far they should go. They know when to rest in winter and when to allow for what is grown to die and be given to another. They’re always in movement whilst still.
